Bobby Santos III will race at Monadnock Speedway this Saturday, July 17 in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour's first stop at the track since 1990.
MONADNOCK SPEEDWAY - Although this will be Santos' first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Monadnock Speedway, he has one previous start at the Winchester, N.H., track. The 24-year-old went to victory lane in his single start at the track, winning a NEMA Midget race in July 2008.
LAST RACE RECAP - Santos' dream season hit a bit of a snag at Lime Rock Park when a flat tire following a mid-race incident and a blown engine with three laps to go relegated the Franklin, Mass., native to a 17th place finish.
IN THE POINTS - Despite struggling at Lime Rock Park, Santos continues to lead the point standings. He currently sits 74 points ahead of second-place Todd Szegedy.

About Bobby Santos III
Bobby Santos III is a third generation driver, who has been racing since he was four years old. After running part-time in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour since 2004, this season Santos is piloting the No. 4 for Mystic Missile Racing for the full 2010 schedule.
The 24-year-old from Franklin, Mass. has driven 23 different styles of race cars, including USAC, ARCA, NASCAR Nationwide and Trucks, and the Modified car he currently races. Santos is a part of the Heinke-Baldwin Racing driver development program and has scored two wins in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, both at Thompson International Speedway.
