ProGold Lubricants Teams Up With Doug Stevens for Legends Million Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Mooresville, N.C. (July 9, 2010) - ProGold Lubricants, maker of state-of-the-art metal friction reducing lubrication technology, is proud to announce it will partner with driver Doug Stevens, one of the winningest drivers in Atlanta Motor Speedway legends history, for the Legends Million event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, July 15 to 17.

Stevens, a familiar name on the Southeast legends circuit, holds the track record for most wins at Atlanta Motor Speedway's Thursday Thunder with 27 trips to victory lane. Additionally, he has won multiple legends championships at Atlanta and Charlotte. Stevens also has experience racing in the ASA Series as well as the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards.

"Van (Pounds, president and owner of ProGold Lubricants) approached me along with his friend Dave Theriault (father of ProGold brand ambassador and NASCAR driver Michelle Theriault), who told him to take a look at me," Stevens said. "Fortunately, through my career I've had a lot of success."

Stevens said he is looking forward to competing in a ProGold Lubricants car.

The Legends Million race will air live on Speed Channel Saturday, July 17, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
