Bobby Santos III NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Advance: Martinsville Speedway

Bobby Santos III and the No. 4 Mystic Missile Racing (MMR) team will travel to Martinsville Speedway this Sunday, June 6, to race in the Made In America Whelen 200.

MARTINSVILLE SPEEDWAY - This will be Santos' second time competing in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Martinsville Speedway. In 2007, Santos was running in the third position when he was involved in an accident, causing him to finish 20th.

LAST RACE RECAP - Santos continued his dominating ways in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Stafford Motor Speedway in the TSI Harley-Davidson 125 on May 28. Santos was fastest in practice, secured the top spot in qualifying and won the event.

IN THE POINTS - After three races, Santos currently leads the overall NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour point standings.

About Bobby Santos III

Bobby Santos III is a third generation driver, who has been racing since he was four years old. After running part-time in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour since 2004, this season Santos is piloting the No. 4 for Mystic Missile Racing for the full 2010 schedule.

The 24-year-old from Franklin, Mass. has driven 23 different styles of race cars, including USAC, ARCA, NASCAR Nationwide and Trucks, and the Modified car he currently races. Santos is a part of the Heinke-Baldwin Racing driver development program and has scored two wins in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, both at Thompson International Speedway.
