McCall Partners with Fat Head Racing to Compete at Motor Mile
McCall Excited to Get Back Behind the Wheel this Weekend

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 3, 2010) - Matt McCall will partner with former rival Fat Head Racing to compete at Motor Mile Speedway this weekend. The 2009 UARA champion will pilot the No. 23 Denver Marine, Fat Head Racing and Bearden Oil Late Model Stock Car at the .416-mile speedway, marking his second start of 2010.

In previous years, McCall and Jamie Yelton, owner of Fat Head Racing, have battled each other on the race track, sometimes clashing along the way. The two, however, have recently formulated a friendship, and developed the utmost respect for one other as not only drivers, but business partners as well. Yelton has successfully provided stout racecars and expert training to countless drivers looking to climb the ranks of the racing world. McCall knows that teaming up with Fat Head Racing can do nothing but help his career.

"To join Fat Head Racing is another step in my racing career that I am really looking forward to," said McCall. "They have great equipment and I believe that it will be a very strong combination."

Not only is McCall enthusiastic about the new partnership with Yelton, but he is also eager to resume racing at a track known for drawing in tough competitors - Motor Mile. While McCall knows he has what it takes to make it to the front of the pack, the upcoming race at Motor Mile will mark his first time racing a Marlow Chassis instead of a Pistone LTO chassis. He will still utilize the same 3V Performance engine program, but McCall has decided to part ways with Pistone LTO to expand his plans and experience for future.

"To debut at Motor Mile this weekend shows that we only want to race the best in the country," explains McCall. "I am really looking forward to this weekend to have Matt McCall Motorsports, Fat Head Racing, 3V Performance and Denver Marine joining forces."

McCall plans on bringing home a strong finish for himself and Fat Head Racing when he takes to Motor Mile Speedway June 5th, 2010 for the running of LMSC 150 scheduled to commence at 7:00 p.m. EST.
