TOLEDO, OHIO (May 22, 2010) - Tim George Jr. will start from the 16th position for Sunday's Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care at the Toledo (Ohio) Speedway. The 200-lap short-track ARCA Racing Series Presented by RE/MAX and Menards race rolls off at 2:00 p.m. at the .5-mile oval.

The racing action on Saturday kicked off with practice, followed by qualifying. In the hour-and-a-half-practice session, George finished with the 19th fastest time of 16.986 seconds (105.97 mph). The New York, N.Y. native turned 59 laps during the caution-free session. A 32-car starting field participated in the practice session in preparation for the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care.

During the Menards Pole Qualifying Presented by Ansell, George was the 31st car to make a qualifying attempt. George and the No. 31 RCR Development Chevrolet Impala team laid down a time of 16.834 seconds in the first qualifying lap and picked up the speed on his second lap by posting a run of 16.531 seconds (108.886 mph).

"Not the best run for us," said George. "We have a really strong short-track package, and I felt really good here last year during the race. This was the first track last year that I started to gain some confidence. I feel good about the race trim."
