Frank Kimmel Ready for Green Flag at Toledo Speedway
Kimmel to lineup ninth for the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care

Toledo, Ohio (May 22, 2010)- Frank Kimmel returned to the short-track at Toledo Speedway for the 30th-consecutive time this afternoon, looking to prepare his Ansell/Menards Ford Fusion for victory in tomorrow's Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care. The nine-time ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards Champion is looking to capture his tenth win at the half-mile oval on Sunday.

Kimmel and his Ansell/Menards team worked on the handling of the No. 44 Ford Fusion, during the days only practice session. He ended the 90-minute session ninth on the speed chart, circling the half-mile oval in 16.579 seconds (108.571 mph).

"Practice went pretty well," said Kimmel. "The car seems like it will be good tomorrow. It is a little bit tight in the middle, so we are working on that. We didn't get a chance to put on new tires and do a qualifying run there at the end of practice, so we don't know where we really ended up. Overall, we are ninth, and we'll see what happens in qualifying."

Kimmel returned to the track for Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell as the 17th car to make a qualifying attempt. Picking up three-tenths of a second from his practice time, Kimmel laid down a lap time of 16.241 seconds (110.831 mph), good enough to start ninth in the 32-car field.

Frank Kimmel has a teammate this weekend, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Matt Crafton. The driver of the Kimmel Racing prepared No. 88 Messina Wildlife Management/Menards Ford will line up right in front of Kimmel Sunday, in the seventh position.

17-year-old rookie driver Chris Buescher will lead the field to the green flag Sunday afternoon with Mikey Kile, Ken Schrader, Dakoda Armstrong and Justin Marks rounding out the top-five.

The green flag for Sunday's Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care is set to drop at 2:00 p.m. EST. Gates will open at 10:00 a.m. with an ARCA Racing Series autograph session from 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Live timing and scoring and radio broadcast will be broadcast on the BAS Racing Network and the ARCA Racing Network on arcaracing.com.
