Success Continues for 2009 UARA Champion Matt and MX3

Matt McCalMOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 20, 2010) - 2009 United Auto Racing Association (UARA) Champion Matt McCall has been caught on the sidelines at the start of the 2010 season, as the search for sponsorship is ongoing. McCall, however, has not been sitting idly by, as he has kept busy working on his business while looking for sponsors. Matt McCall Motorsports (MX3), both in the shop and at the track, helps several clients reach victory lane every week.

MX3 specializes in the set-up of Late Model Stock Cars, providing comprehensive racing information and fully race-ready shocks. McCall, who has a mechanical engineering degree from UNC-Charlotte and experience working with some of the best technicalshock engineers in NASCAR, not only assists his clients on race day but also during test-sessions and in the shop.

Four of McCall's MX3 drivers competed last weekend, scoring the eighth feature win of the season for MX3. April 17th saw MX3 driver Marty Ward start from the pole position and take the Whelen All-American Late Model series win at Greenville Pickens Speedway. Taylor Howard earned his second-straight Whelen All-American series victory at Coastal Plaines Raceway, while Josh Wimbish brought home a solid fourth-place finish at Hickory Motor Speedway. Clint King finished just outside the top-10, in 11th position, after qualifying fourth in the UARA series at Tri-County Motor Speedway on Friday April 16th.

McCall, a two-time UARA Champion, is not giving up on his own driving career. After being crowned 2009 UARA Champion with four wins and an average finish of sixth, the Denver, N.C. native is committed to continuing his career and is currently seeking sponsorship for the remainder of the 2010 season.
