Performance Power Teams Up with Activ8 Communications

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (February 4, 2010) Performance Power LLC, an exclusive high-end car performance parts, service and production company, signed on last week with Activ8 Communications. The West Palm Beach, Fla., based parts and services firm will partner with the public relations, branding and sponsorship agency to create a premier experience for consumers and car enthusiasts online.

Activ8 Communications, based in Mooresville, North Carolina, is a full-service public relations and branding firm founded by veteran NSCS spotter Mike Calinoff. Performance Power's decision to sign on with the organization was based on Activ8's specialization in motorsports and the ability to manage PR, sponsorship acquisition and branding.

"I am excited to work with Activ8 in order to create awareness of our exclusive services and custom parts," said Performance Power CEO John Bohmer. "One of our main goals is to increase consumer interaction through digital and social networking, and Activ8 will take us to the next level."

Activ8 owner Mike Calinoff is also looking forward to the company's relationship with Performance Power. Performance Power, which is based out of the 6,500 sq. ft. South Florida facility, specializes in supercharger and turbocharger instillation and tuning street and race vehicles. The shop doors opened in 2002 and provide services such as Hydro-Carbon concepts, nitrous instillation, Lamborghini body and performance enhancement kits and other specialty performance services.

Ambition and extreme knowledge of the industry led Performance Power to work on developing the fastest street car in the world, capable of exceeding 247 MPH in the standing mile. The car, based on a Ford GT platform, will make the world record attempt this spring.
