Activ8 Drivers to Attend Stocks For Tots Charity Event

Three Activ8 drivers will be attending the annual charity event, Stocks For Tots, taking place in downtown Mooresville, NC on Tuesday, December 8th. Located at the Charles Mack Citizen Center, the event will consist of Legends driver appearances, driver autograph sessions, and an auction.
Tommy Baldwin, Justin Lloyd, and JC Stout will be attending the event and signing autographs for fans. Tommy Baldwin, owner of Tommy Baldwin Racing, is a NASCAR Sprint Cup veteran and five-time NASCAR Sprint Cup and Daytona 500 winning crew chief. Justin Lloyd, 2010 Rookie ARCA Series driver and local high school senior, has earned 150 feature wins in his young career. Driver of No.19 Stellar-Quest Racing Team in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, JC Stout helps fund his family-owned team and hopes to run full-time in the 2010 season.
Stocks For Tots is an annual charity event created to bring together stock car racing and its fans, while raising awareness of child abuse. The main goal of the event is to collect toys and raise funds for families in need during the holiday season.
Mike Calinoff, Activ8 CEO and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series spotter for Matt Kenseth, stated, "It's an incredible feeling to know that Activ8 and its clients are able to help make the lives of needy families within our community a little brighter, especially during the holiday season."
Over 25 NASCAR, NHRA, ARCA, and other motorsports series drivers, crew chiefs, and owners are expected to attend the autograph session as well as over 20 Legends drivers are scheduled to attend. Other events without scheduled start times include an entertainment stage, food, show cars, and pit crew demonstrations.
The event will take place between 4:30-10:00 p.m. with the Legends driver appearances scheduled between 4:30-6:00 p.m. in the auction room, driver autograph sessions between 7:00-9:00 p.m., and auctions between 5:30-10:00 p.m. Doors to the driver autograph sessions will open at 7 p.m. and fans will be admitted with proper wristband credentials.
Wristbands are required for admission and can be purchased at the N.C. Auto Racing Hall of Fame located at 119 Knob Hill Road in Mooresville, NC between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. After 4 p.m., wristbands can be purchased at the Charles Mack Citizen's Center. The cost of one wristband is a minimum $10 cash donation and a new, unwrapped toy that is of a $10 minimum value. You must be present to purchase a wristband.
